All rune interpretations are grounded in the three historical rune poems (Anglo-Saxon, Norwegian, and Icelandic), cited to primary scholarly sources including Dickins (1915), Bellows (1936), and others.
The blank rune was invented by Ralph Blum in 1982. It has no historical basis in the Elder Futhark tradition. TrueRune uses only the 24 historically attested runes.
